Amendment to the Long Lake Township Master Plan of July 30, 1997

Community Forestry Plan was adopted by the Long Lake Township Planning Commission on : January 18, 2000

The following persons and agencies should be recognized for their assistance during the plan development.   Richard Deuell, AICP, CF, Community and Natural Resource Planner at NEMCOG, drafted the plan and lead the planning process.  Jonathan Allen, GIS Technician, was responsible for GIS data development and mapping.  Shirley Mesch, Township Zoning Administrator and Jay Kilpatrick, Planner with Williams and Works, who participated in meetings and provided valuable comments throughout the process.  Karen Rosa, Township Supervisor, and Angela Friske, Township Assessor, who provided input on the plan.  Lois Feichtenbiner and Bob Flannery who conducted a critical areas field survey and participated in workshops.  Finally, the Grand Traverse County Planning Department, Grand Traverse County Drain Commissioner, Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy, Grand Traverse County Conservation District and numerous residents who participated in workshops.
